Coming from a folk background, Jacob Svendsen has found his own unique expression. While remaining true to the folk tradition, Jacob adds elements of Americana, pop, jazz and rock to his compositions.

Jacob Svendsen has a calm, soothing voice and an intense stage appearance, which captures and mesmerizes his audience.

Over the years Jacob Svendsen has received grants from various music organisations and has recently been in Austin, Texas, as part of The House of Songs artist-in-residence program.
